Fire Watchman
We are seeking a vigilant Fire Watchman to ensure the safety of welding structural frameworks on the exterior of a building in Manhattan. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage safety procedures during welding activities.
Responsibilities
- Watch over and ensure the safety of welding operations on structural frameworks.
- Monitor safety procedures and protocols during welding activities.
- Report any safety violations or hazardous conditions promptly.
- Maintain a safe environment for all personnel involved in the construction site.
Essential Skills
- F60 certification
- Experience in fire watch and construction safety
- Knowledge of welding and structural frameworks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- SST certification

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
