We are seeking a vigilant Fire Watchman to ensure the safety of welding structural frameworks on the exterior of a building in Manhattan. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage safety procedures during welding activities.

Responsibilities

• Watch over and ensure the safety of welding operations on structural frameworks.
• Monitor safety procedures and protocols during welding activities.
• Report any safety violations or hazardous conditions promptly.
• Maintain a safe environment for all personnel involved in the construction site.

Essential Skills

• F60 certification
• Experience in fire watch and construction safety
• Knowledge of welding and structural frameworks
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification
• SST certification

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
