Junior Acquisition Specialist
Description
GD Resources is hiring Junior Acquisition Specialists to provide entry-to-mid-level support to Government under the general supervision of senior acquisition staff, gaining hands-on experience across the acquisition lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support the interpretation and application of FAR/HHSAR under general supervision
- Assist with development of procurement request packages and lifecycle documentation
- Help monitor acquisition performance metrics, including PALT
- Support preparation and review of acquisition strategies, SOWs/PWS, IGCEs, and source selection materials
- Assist with source selection documentation and procurement recordkeeping
- Support contract administration tasks, including invoice review and correspondence
- Assist with FOIA responses involving procurement-sensitive information
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Federal government acquisition and program support
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution (in lieu of a degree, 5 years of directly relevant federal acquisition experience will be accepted)
- Familiarity with FAR/HHSAR
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work under general supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other Federal civilian acquisition organizations
- Familiarity with NIH procurement systems (PRISM, IPPS, MERLIN) and acquisition documentation
