CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST -
User Desktop Infrastructure
Under general supervision, provides technical support services relative to computers,
computer software, networks and telecommunication systems. Also, responsible for
the End User computing experience including complete hardware and software
configuration, integration, administration, support, and maintenance. Responsible
for all IS Purchases, inventory, licensing, and decommissioning.
The duties of this position require the employee to have complete access to all
information in all of TCRC's systems, including a wide variety of confidential
materials.
Primary Functions:
1. All computer hardware installation, configuration, maintenance and trouble-shooting including
updating and replacing internal components, peripherals and closely related items.
2. Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware based security.
3. Computer software installation, configuration, trouble-shooting, upgrading, distribution, licensure
and management.
4. Software backup, access control and password security.
5. Automate Processes in relation to Client Software Images, Disaster Recovery, Software
distribution and Application management.
6. Local Area Network management, control and maintenance including software inventory control,
e-mail, backup, document access control and security.
7. Telephone system management including configuration and maintenance of voice and data
communications systems.
8. The duties of this position require complete confidentiality because the employee will have
complete access to all information in all of TCRC's systems, including extremely confidential
materials. The employee will have access to, and inevitably come into contact with, confidential
union, labor relations, collective bargaining, grievance, discipline, and related materials.
9. Additional projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred in computer science or closely related field or equivalent training,
5 years experience in computer systems technical support, familiarity with LANs, WANs and standard PC
software products, valid CA drivers license and reliable, insured transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to work independently. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office
setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer. This is primarily a sedentary office
classification. The position also requires grasping, repetitive hand movement, finger dexterity and fine
coordination in preparing statistical reports and data using a computer keyboard and calculator.
Additionally, the position requires near, far, and color vision in reading correspondence, statistical data,
and using the computer. Hearing and speech are required to communicate in person, before groups and
over the telephone.
Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects necessary to perform
job functions. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and infrequently up to 20 lbs.
The position requires standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting, and
stooping in the performance of daily office activities. Work is performed in an office setting with moderate
noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
Employees may encounter upset individuals over the phone and/or in person. Each of these physical tasks
is an essential function of the position.
