SME IV - Implementation ScientistJob ID: 2026-4514Job Locations: US-MD-Silver SpringsPosition Type: Regular Full-Time W2About the RoleCulmen International is hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME IV) - Implementation Scientist to support the translation of research findings into sustainable improvements across military mental healthcare systems. This position will lead implementation science initiatives designed to improve clinical outcomes and increase adoption of evidence-based practices throughout the Military Health System.What You'll Do in Your New RoleIn this role, you will identify gaps in mental healthcare delivery, assess evidence-based solutions, design and manage implementation studies, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and collaborate with stakeholders to support system-wide improvements. You will also provide recommendations for scaling successful initiatives across the enterprise.Required QualificationsDoctorate in a relevant field.Minimum of thirteen (13) years of post-doctoral experience supporting research translation and implementation initiatives in healthcare delivery systems.Minimum of three (3) years leading implementation efforts within the mental healthcare environment.Experience identifying healthcare performance gaps and evaluating evidence-based solutions.Ability to design and lead implementation science studies and pilot projects.Experience collaborating with stakeholders to identify adoption barriers and facilitators.Ability to develop implementation plans and recommendations for enterprise-wide deployment.Experience producing technical reports, briefings, presentations, manuscripts, and related deliverables.About the CompanyCulmen International is committed to enhancing international safety and security, strengthening homeland defense, advancing humanitarian missions, and optimizing government operations.
