Summary
Weapons Department Supply Technician
Weapons Department personnel assist the LOGSU-1 Weapons Officer and Weapons LCPO in the day-to-day operation of the weapons department to include; Armory, Ordnance and VAS divisions.
Responsible for all aspects of managing the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) for receipt, issue, storage, inventory, transportation and shipment operations of weapons, visual augmentation systems (VAS) and weapons accessories.
Process and manage inventory of weapons and VASWA items received to verify serial numbers/stock number and quantity, description, and cost according to shipment documentation.
Process, research, reconcile and submit the weapons and VASWA Annual Asset Verification Reports to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana.
Track all inventory on automated inventory management systems and processes providing accurate visibility and management control of inventory.
Produce inventory schedules and collect and compile inventory results.
Tracks, maintains and updates required assessments on weapons and VASWA in ELMS.
Maintains documentation files in accordance with regulations.
Qualifications:
Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
