Limited Term Construction Inspector: $73,278.40 - $115,232 Annually

Limited Term Senior Construction Inspector: $82,971.20 - $130,540.80 Annually

The City of Irvine is seeking a seasoned professional to provide inspection services for complex capital improvement projects at the Irvine Great Park. Projects are guided by the Great Park Framework Plan. Projects may include grading, construction, rehabilitation, roads, bridges, drainage facilities, landscaping, traffic signals, parks, buildings, and maintenance improvements. This is a limited-term position with an initial two-year term and the potential for extension at the discretion of the division.
The Limited Term Construction Inspector is a flexibly staffed position and may be filled at either the Construction Inspector or Senior Construction Inspector level at the discretion of the department, based upon the expertise of the candidate.

This recruitment will establish an eligibility list for this position that will expire on 03/16/2027.

The Great Park Development Division, part of the City Manager’s Office, oversees the delivery of the Great Park Framework Plan, adopted in March 2023. The Process
The selection process will include an examination and conduct a background investigation priorto the appointment. This recruitment may establish an eligibility list to fill future positions in similar and/or lower classifications.
