DESCRIPTION

The City of Long Beach City Attorney’s Office invites applications for a full-time trial attorney to work in the Litigation division.

A minimum of two years’ experience practicing civil litigation is required; 4-8 years’ civil litigation experience, and a background in complex personal injury/wrongful death, are preferred. Jury trial experience, especially as first chair, is a plus.

The successful candidate will represent the City of Long Beach and its employees in state and federal court, with full ownership of the case files, making this an excellent opportunity to develop meaningful, hands-on trial skills in a high-volume, high-responsibility municipal law practice.
