Senior Recreation Leader - Special Events
Description
Position Information *This is a non-benefited, part-time position. The City of Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an on-site City representative for externally hosted special events. This position does not manage or operate the event, but instead ensures City policies, permit conditions, and special event rules are followed.
Duties include serving as the City’s day-of point of contact, verifying event setup and operations align with approved plans, addressing issues in real time, and performing basic site support tasks such as emptying City trash receptacles. Saturday availability is required.

QualificationsEducation and Experience: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade
- Two (2) years of customer service experience or two (2) years of experience performing work comparable to a Recreation Leader II with the City of Brentwood.
Licenses and Certifications:- Possession of a valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification, at time of hire, to be maintained throughout employment.

- Orientation - Applicants who have passed all of the pre-employment requirements and have submitted all of their documents will be scheduled for their first day of orientation.
