Role

Yavapai County Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Systems Engineer III, specializing in systems administration within a Windows server environment, particularly focusing on Hyper-V virtualization and adherence to regulatory compliance requirements such as CIS, CJIS, HIPAA, and PCI. Ideal candidate will have a solid foundational knowledge of networking and will effectively utilize PowerShell scripting and automation to enhance our team at Yavapai County.

Major Duties, Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.

Experience:
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in information technology or related field. An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.

Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.

The work environment is associated with an office. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl under desks, and walk on uneven ground. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person and telephonically. Standing and walking between work areas is frequently required. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Capable of occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
