Position Description
Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major/Essential Functions
This is a 12-month, full-time appointment. The successful candidate will contribute to a broad range of teaching activities within our innovative Pharm.D. curriculum for both traditional and hybrid "Pioneer" pathways, including didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based, and experiential instruction. Clinical practice responsibilities (approximately 50% effort) will focus on chronic disease state management and precepting learners in the ambulatory care setting.

The faculty member will join an established clinical practice at the Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), providing advanced ambulatory care pharmacy services as part of a highly collaborative interprofessional team. TTUHSC and VANTHCS have partnered for more than 25 years to support excellence in patient care, experiential education, and clinical training.

In addition to teaching and clinical practice, the faculty member will be expected to engage in scholarship and service activities aligned with departmental and school priorities.

Occasional Duties


Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience
Eligibility for Texas pharmacist licensure
