Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.76 hourly | $37,440 - $45,253 annual compensation

Workdays & Hours: Varies. Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. This is a part-time, 24-hour per week position with partial benefits.

A Community Center Aide job is available with the City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department at Haws Athletic Center.
Minimum Qualifications: - High School diploma and six months of experience in athletic services and programs; some custodial experience required
- Valid Driver's License
- Possession of, or ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid, and AED certification during the first six months of employment
Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
The Community Center Aide job responsibilities include: - Assist in coordinating and executing programs and reservations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for weekend reservations and leagues, addressing inquiries and managing member check-ins for programs and athletic field reservations.
- Carry out various facility maintenance tasks, including custodial duties and light maintenance around the athletic fields. Responsibilities may include litter pickup in parking lots and fields, as well as preparing softball and baseball fields.
- Commit to working weekends and flexible hours as needed.
Working Conditions and Physical Demand Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
Medium work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
