The Missouri Veterans Home needs a Custodial Manager who is “Always on Mission” to make sure our Veterans have a safe, comfortable living environment. Cleanliness of our Home is one of our highest priorities. You will lead the team responsible for making sure our Veterans, their families, visitors and team members feel like they are in their own home. Come see the difference you can make at our Home!

Salary: $47,552.16

Examples of Work:

• Ensure overall cleanliness of Home through planning and directing all housekeeping functions, including insect control.
• Maintain all necessary documentation and information meets federal and Veterans Administration regulations.
• Schedule cleaning services to coordinate with Veteran’s daily routine and preferences.
• Oversee the supervision, recruitment, retention, performance management, discipline, and feedback to the housekeeping staff.
• Monitor supply inventories and coordinate with Purchasing for needed equipment and supplies, and make sure the department is operating within budget.
• Prepare schedules/assignments for weekly, monthly, quarterly special projects and hold month departmental meetings.
• Make sure safe work practices are developed and adhered to in regard to handling chemicals and machinery.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in related area
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
