Scheduled Salary Increases:

3% effective 7/7/25 ($57,434 - $73,294 Annually)

The Fresno County Assessor-Recorder's Office invites applications for the position of Auditor-Appraiser I. Incumbents perform personal property audits and appraisals for assessment purposes, which include appraisals of equipment, machinery, tools and fixtures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Possession of a bachelor's degree with the completion of at least eighteen (18) semester units of accounting and/or auditing coursework that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system.

OR

Possession of a bachelor’s degree with the completion of sixteen (16) semester units of accounting and/or auditing coursework and three (3) semester units of business law or economic classes that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system.om
License : Possession of a valid Class "C" driver's license, or equivalent.

Certificate : Possession of a valid Appraiser certificate issued by the State Board of Equalization (must be obtained prior to completion of the probationary period).

Positions in this classification are in MEDICAL GROUP II - Moderate Physical Activity (Personnel Rule 8).
