Responsibilities include planning and implementation of a variety of activities to enhance the quality of lives for clients in the SORTS program.

The SORTS program is looking for an Education Specialist to meet the academic needs of adults with mental illness and sex offending behaviors. Attention and guidance about Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requirements is given for those to whom it applies. The Education Specialist will be responsible for providing academic screenings and education groups, facilitating rehabilitative groups, providing case management services, and offering input about individual clients to the interdisciplinary treatment team.
