Job Summary
Job Description
Performs professional administrative work assisting with the management and leadership of the Children, Youth, and Families Division. Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of children, youth, and family programming and services; supervises staff,
and data collection for grant and contract compliance. Conducts research, analyzes, and evaluates existing grant programs, practices, and procedures, and recommends strategies for improvements as needed to better address community needs. Work requires initiative and independent judgment and performance is evaluated by the Division Manager through conferences and evaluation of results achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Youth Development, Human Services, or related field and three (3) years of Human Services Administration, including at least two (2) years of responsible supervisory and budget administration experience planning and directing community programs, or public assembly facilities required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations relevant to grants required. Valid Driver's License requiredat the time of application.A valid Florida Driver’s License must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
