A Senior Administrative Services Manager position is available with The City of Fort Worth Water Utility - Financial Services Division. This position reports to the Assistant Director of the Financial Services Division and will lead the Utility’s capital planning and capital finance teams from the planning, design and construction phases of projects through financial close out and capitalization. This position will provide complex fiscal and debt management of the Utility’s $2 billion five-year capital improvement program that routinely has over 150 active projects.
Minimum Qualifications: - Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Public Administration.
- At least four (4) years of increasingly responsible and complex administrative, fiscal, personnel and management experience including two years in a supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of principles and practices of governmental budgeting.
- Knowledge of effective Utility management.
- Knowledge of enterprise financial systems such as PeopleSoft ERP.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles related to asset management.
The Senior Administrative Services Manager responsibilities include: - Manage the financial operations and performance of the Utility’s robust capital program.
- Provide complex analytical support of the Utility’s debt program.
- Manage the capital planning and capital finance teams.
- Prepare complex financial reports.
- Serve as a facilitator who can build a high level of trust and drive solutions at all levels of the organization.
