Why you’ll love this position:Missouri Vital Enterprise Resource System (MOVERS) is an implementation of Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions. MOVERS is used by the State of Missouri to support the State’s enterprise budget, finance, accounting, and HR functions. Operational security professionals for MOVERS manage user accounts in a SaaS cloud environment. Provision and monitor system privileges. Audit and report on security performance. Troubleshoot functional discrepancies to support and enable secure business operations comprising over $1B in annual budget transactions.
This is a temporary position based upon MOVERS funding. Position funding will end no later than July 2027. • Ensure user access is provisioned/de-provisioned to valid recipients in a timely and traceable manner.
• Research, document, and report security findings to security seniors and business ownership; provides data-driven reports to communicate security trends.
• Review performance and output of cloud environment business security controls, and corrects discrepancies identified.
• Enable and maintain user access to the system through transfer, status, and attribute changes.
• Leverage request/ticketing system to document, action, and validate authorized requests.
• Audit user account access and coordinates with business resources to determine disposition of discrepancies.
• Assist in enhancing security control coverage.
• Work with Office of Cybersecurity (OCS) to establish and maintain connectivity of IdP (Identity Provider) technology solutions for users.
• Assist business owners and OCS in mitigating risk to business security.
All you need for success:• Two years of college technology courses related to Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or, two years of experience in information technology security.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are preferred.
A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:• An understanding of fundamental information technology security principles: least privilege, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), fail open/fail closed, risk ownership/risk management.
• Insights into security best practices.
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities vs security exploits vs attack surface.
• Robust written and verbal communication skills; translating technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate within formal information technology security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Critical thinking/troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of cloud technology and operational solutions utilizing cloud technology

Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary:
$55,200.00-$72,000.00 per Year
