What you’ll do: This is a professional-level administrative support position responsible for a variety of functions supporting the needs of the Litigation Unit. The Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the Unit’s executive and upper management team. In addition to providing direct support, the duties of this position include assisting in the statewide management and oversight of the unit’s contracting needs; providing technical support on unit-wide activities; tracking and compiling data and other metrics; generating reports; and assisting in other activities to support the overall performance and direction of the unit. This position reports directly to the Chief of Litigation.
Minimum Qualifications:Three or more years’ relevant experience; or an associate degree in a business operations or support field and at least one year’s relevant experience. Must have experience maintaining clerical or office records and operating office equipment. Must be able to interact on the telephone and in person with the public. Must have the ability to organize work assignments and work independently. Experience analyzing current expenditures and developing budget projections is preferred. Experience in compiling and interpreting data is preferred. Experience in the legal support field is preferred.
