Description
Associate Research/Data Analyst Department of Revenue - Taxation Division - Systems Support & Electronic ServicesAnnual Salary: $ 46,446.48Location: 301 West High Street, Jefferson City, MODOR’s Vision: To provide every customer the best experience every time. HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: This position will contribute to a variety of research tasks and development projects for the Taxation Division's Systems Support and Electronic Services team. The team strives to provide efficient and quality output for all our customers. If you enjoy data analysis, variation in daily tasks, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and customer service, then you will love this position. This is not a remote position.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: - Analyze and query system data for reporting, issue identification and process improvements for entire Taxation Division.
- Develop operational reports using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Assist with development related to image capture and recognition of tax form data.
- Assist with development and software developer testing for the Modernized E-file program.
- Assist customers with electronic payments.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of basic research methods and analysis, computer information systems, and statistical software.
- Ability to perform basic queries and analysis of data.
- Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
