THE OPPORTUNITY
This a fully qualified journey-level classification which provides technical support to department information technology systems and services. Positions at this level perform the full range of duties as assigned, work independently, and exercise judgment and initiative. Positions at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit. Equivalent to an Associate degree with major coursework in information technology, computer science, or a related field, AND two (2) years of experience providing technical support to desktop computer hardware and software systems.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
