(Job #544377) Administrator I, Campus Intake Coordinator, Salary Range: $3,938 - $11,703 monthly. Hiring Range: $6,000 - $6,900 monthly. This is a full-time, benefited, 12-month pay plan position in the Title IX Department. This position is an Administrator I in the California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP). Under this plan, incumbents are subject to normal management reviews and serve at the pleasure of the University President. Position Summary: The Campus Intake Coordinator oversees the intake and adjudication of all incident reports and formal complaints involving students, faculty, and staff - ensuring that required tasks are performed by the appropriate responding office consistent with CSU policy and established university procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, assign, process, and track response to reports of unwelcome behavior - 35% - Review all Incident Reports (IRs) submitted through Student Conduct, Title IX & DHR, Human Resources, and Academic Personnel Services reporting channels.
- Based on reported information, create cases in Maxient CMS; perform initial Complainant intake and provide supportive measures.
- Assign cases to appropriate responding office.
- Actively track all open cases.
- Audit case closures to ensure responses are consistent with CSU policy and established procedures, and that Maxient case files tell complete story to future auditors / reviewers through EFC and Notes section content.
Intake and Support - 30% - Perform initial Complainant intake and provide supportive measures; assign cases to appropriate responding office.
Directly support the development and implementation of a campus policy and structure designed to respond to “Other Conduct of Concern” (OOC) (per Cozen O’Connor Assessment) - 20% - In consultation with the Title IX Coordinator, periodically refine the duties and essential job functions of the Campus Intake Coordinator position to effectively implement newly established and evolving procedures that address OOC.
- Lead the development and implementation of a reporting tool (“one form”) for all unwelcome conduct.
- Train HR, APS, and college administrators on Maxient CMS use and best practices.
- Lead campus outreach on new reporting process.
- Lead the implementation of the yet-to-be published systemwide policy addressing other conduct of concern.
Support Title IX Office operations - 5% - In the absence of the Title IX / DHR Intake Coordinator, send initial outreach for all Title IX cases via Maxient CMS.
- Send tailored (non-Maxient) outreach for all dating / domestic violence and stalking cases.
- Serve as back-up Clery reviewer; monitor (daily) TIX department email account.
Actively liaise with the Office of the Dean of Students - 5% - Work closely with the Dean and Associate Dean of Students to support students who are negotiating a reporting, formal complaint, or grievance process.

- Demonstrated commitment and/or experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience working on issues related to Title IX / DHR and / or student conduct in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree related to Title IX issues including but not limited to legal studies and education. Demonstrated skills in delivering trainings. Knowledge of Maxient case management system.
