The MO Medicaid Audit & Compliance Unit (MMAC) has an opening for a Lead Administrative Support Assistant within the Missouri Medicaid Audit & Compliance Unit located in Cole County.

Semi-monthly salary: $1701.35

Annual salary: $40,832.48

Job Location: This position is located at the Knipp Building; 3418 Knipp Drive, Jefferson City, MO.

Why you’ll love this position: This position is responsible for various administrative duties pertaining to MMAC’s legal counsel. The position receives general supervision from the Executive Assistant and MMAC’s Legal Counsel . Hours of work: 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday.

The candidate will provide clerical support to MMAC’s legal counsel and will maintain and update legal files and databases for appeal notices, as well as research for case materials, document preparation for discovery process, and analyzing the legal impact of proposed legislation. The Lead Administrative Support Assistant will gather information related to statute/CSR changes, monitor comment periods, and assist making relevant changes, as well as keeping MMAC’s policies and procedures updated. The Lead Administrative Support Assistant may be asked to perform tasks beyond those explicitly listed.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient writing skills for drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Basic knowledge of Missouri State rules, regulations, and statutes. Four or more years of technical or professional experience in public or business administration; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
