Job Description

As a member of the Emergency Operations Training Center team, the Enhanced Emergency Operations Center Instructor is responsible for delivering the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Operations and Planning for All-Hazards Events (MGT-346) course. The delivery model for MGT-346 is two full-time instructors and one wage/adjunct instructor. The instructor will leverage their expertise in adult learning theories, various learning styles, and apply in-depth knowledge of the computer-based simulation software to optimize participant involvement and learning outcomes.

This role includes developing and utilizing a variety of instructional media to enhance course delivery, leading curriculum and exercise development teams to create and update course content and coordinating adjunct instructors for effective support of upcoming courses. Additionally, the instructor will maintain records and evaluate the performance of adjunct instructional staff involved in MGT-346.

This position reports to the Training Director, Enhanced Incident Management.
