Located in the beautiful County of Riverside, the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) provides water services to 46,000 customers and 37,000 wastewater customers located in the southwestern portion of Riverside County. EVMWD is looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, and experienced professional with a strategic vision to join their dynamic team as the next Assistant General Manager for Business Services. The ideal candidate will be politically astute and skilled at effectively presenting complex financial data in clear, understandable terms to the Board of Directors. The selected candidate will possess a great deal of experience in a variety of service areas. This includes but is not limited to knowledge of principles and practices of finance, grant management, and accounting. Qualified candidates possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in finance, business administration, public administration, or a related field, and must have ten (10) years of increasingly responsible experience in financial services, accounting, or a related field, including five (5) years of experience at the department management or senior management level. Candidates must possess a valid California Class C driver's license. Candidates with a CPA background are sought. The annual salary range for the Assistant General Manager for Business Services is $244,740 - $321,047; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
