Job Location: - The office for this position is located at the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.
- Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.
Why you’ll love this position:As a Systems Administration Technician, this individual will report to the Cloud Collaboration Supervisor within Enterprise IT Operations. This position will work closely with IT Management and other functional areas to design, develop, deploy, migrate and administer SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 Teams, Power Platform, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Server (on-prem). The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work with technical, non-technical, or vendor staff. They will help establish and implement data governance policies, plus verify that document management and content are compliant with those governance policies.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Enterprise IT Operations (EIT).

Responsibilities - What you’ll do:
- Support Enterprise SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, Microsoft 365 Teams, OneDrive for Business and Power Platform functional areas.
- Promote knowledge, growth, and expertise through cross-training and collaboration.
- Help develop and promote standard operating procedures, as well as security standards.
- Establish and maintain healthy relationships with other functional areas of ITSD, as well as business partners.
- Work with the ITSD Network Operation Center to provide reports and updates on outages for business-critical systems until a resolution is reached.
- Develop and maintain reports on platform life-cycle, resource usage/throughput, plus site, list & permission metadata.
Qualifications - All you need for success
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred emphasis on Information Technology.
- In-Depth knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive for Business.
- General knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate and InfoPath.
- General knowledge of Server Administration.
- General knowledge of Power Platform Administration.
- Experience with project management, knowledge of methodologies and best practices.
- Proven ability to take initiative.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work demands.
- Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
