Job Expires: Open Until Filled Salary Range: $43,920.23 - $73,164.67 General Description and Classification The City of Atlanta, Department of Watershed is committed to implementing innovative solutions to stormwater challenges within our watersheds. Encompassing 132 square miles and 10 different watersheds, our sustainable stormwater management approach integrates planning and mitigation of the adverse impacts of flooding, while leveraging partnerships to protect, restore and enhance our watersheds. The Landscape Architect position within our team will perform a variety of landscape architectural work in the study, conceptualization, design, drawing preparation, and construction observation of green infrastructure, stream restoration, and watershed improvement projects.
Minimum Qualifications 5 years of related experience, Supervisory experience, AutoCAD experience.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field (Equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis). 5 years of related experience of which 1 year is at a supervisory level.
Preferred Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience of which 1 year is at a supervisory level.
Licensures and Certifications Registered Landscape Architect, Pesticide license and/or Certified Arborist are desirable.
