ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Geographic Information Systems Analyst I/II position. This position will be primarily responsible for:

Geographic Information Systems Analyst I: $30.32 - $47.03 Hourly Geographic Information Systems Analyst II: $32.74 - $50.81 Hourly

This recruitment will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Geographic Information Systems Analyst I - Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in planning, engineering, computer science or geographic studies or a field related to the work, AND one ( 1) year of full-time experience in working with automated geographic information systems. Experience in digitizing data or working with geographic information system data may be substituted for the education on a year for year basis.

Geographic Information Systems Analyst II - In addition to the above: Three (3) years of full-time professional level experience in developing and implementing automated geographic information systems.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.

Licenses and Certifications: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of appointment.
