Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a
Value Based Programs Analytics Manager* to utilize Epic Systems (Electronic Health Record) and data analytics to lead in collaborative environment where teamwork, solutions, and ideas are valued. We are looking for experienced leaders who have the ability to empower staff through utilizing their unique skillsets and strengths to ensure individual and group success.
The Value Based Programs Analytics Manager* is responsible for managing and leading an information technology (IT) team for ARMC's Value Based Programs. Duties include in-depth hands-on business operations expertise and an ability to work closely with internal and external management and executive staff. Duties include developing business application strategies, managing Value Based Programs projects, recommending the best use of resources, overseeing a staff of IT professionals, establishing staffing requirements, managing program budgets, and is responsible for staff and performance management, as well as continuous service improvement.

VALUE BASED PROGRAMS Value Based Programs (VBPs) reward public healthcare systems when high quality care is provided to patients. This is measured by several comprehensive quality metrics, audited by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and contracted Health Plans. At ARMC, VBPs are designed to drive continuous improvement in quality of care through comprehensive data analytics and clinical review. Incumbents assigned to VBPs are responsible for identifying, quantifying, and providing holistic analysis on ARMC's quality metrics, dependent upon assignment.
ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants must successfully pass a background check and a job-related physical exam, including a drug test, prior to employment.
Availability: Incumbents may be required to work overtime, irregular hours (including evenings and weekends) and perform recurring on-call or standby duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements Qualifying candidates must meet the requirements in ALL of the following categories: EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of experience conducting business systems analysis, technology-based feasibility studies, and managing IT related projects.
SUPERVISORY/LEAD
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years as an IT project lead or providing full scope supervision to automated/business systems analysts, programmers, or comparable positions engaged in technology operations or the development or assessment of business application/systems. Experience may be concurrent.
EDUCATION: Sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter units of completed college coursework in business/public administration, information management, computer science, or closely related field.
A list of coursework or copies of transcripts must be submitted with the application, unless applicant possesses a Bachelor's degree in a qualifying area. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION:
Additional qualifying experience may substitute for up to 30 semester (45 quarter) units of education on the basis of one (1) year of qualifying experience for 30 semester (45 quarter) units of education.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Epic implementation or Epic supervisory experience preferred
- 5 years experience in complex data analytics in healthcare
- Supplemental Program experience preferred
- Building customer relations and championing customer service.
- Providing oversight to various complex projects and project timelines.
