The faculty member for Obstetrics & Gynecology will contribute to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.
Major/Essential Functions- Teaching to residents and medical students rotating in clinic.
- Inpatient and outpatient care including examination of patients.
- Ordering x-rays and laboratory tests to help make an accurate diagnosis and planning and execution of treatment.
- Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties
As assigned by the chair. May conduct lectures, ground rounds or teaching sessions with residents and/or medical students.
Required Qualifications- M.D., D.O., or Foreign Equivalent
- Completion or will be completing an OB/GYN residency.
- Board Eligible, or in the process of becoming board eligible, in OB/GYN.
- Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
