Licensed Clinical Social WorkerSt. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - South Campus 5300 Arsenal St., St. Louis, MO 63139Clinical Caseworker: $1,643.97 semi-monthlySr. Clinical Caseworker: $2,020.68 semi-monthly LCSW: $2,516.16 semi-monthlyDay Shift (Sat/Sun off)The social worker will be responsible for maintaining a minimum caseload of approximately 16 cottage-based of the Forensic Responsibility Program (FRP). Responsibilities include provision of individual and group therapy/psychoeducation, community reintegration activities, transfer and discharge coordination, division specific documentation, case management, liaising with legal guardians and family where applicable, and other duties as assigned. Within the case management model, the social worker will be responsible for additional tasks, including but not limited to, ITRP review and Integrated Risks Assessments. The social worker will also be required to participate in routine interdisciplinary meetings, including client review and treatment planning.
This is a program that works with individuals who benefit from Cognitive Behavior Therapy with a focus on responsibility and accountability. The primary population consists of individuals diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder or associated features, who might struggle with criminogenic thinking or offending behaviors. This program also utilizes Risk-Need-Responsivity Model.
Responsibilities : - Conduct comprehensive Social Service Assessments (Initial and/or Annual)
- Complete admission and discharge
- Provide individual and/or group treatment and complete corresponding
- Write monthly/weekly summary progress notes for
- Offer case management to assigned
- Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments as
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a routine basis to provide and orient
- Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g. guardianship, conditional release applications) as necessary.
- Disseminate pertinent information to vested departments within and outside the
- Other duties as assigned
Eligibility: - Prior experience providing services for individuals with a severe and persistent mental health diagnosis and other impairing conditions (substance use disorders, personality disorders, intellectual disorders, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the DSM, evidence-based practices and social work ethics are strongly encouraged.
- Degree and/or License in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred, but will consider candidates who meet the minimum qualifications.
- Provisionally and fully credentialed candidates must be professionally licensed in
- Willing to consider individuals who are nearing completion of a MSW This individual would likely qualify as a Clinical Caseworker until completion of MSW degree.
