POWER MARKET ANALYST I/II
$ 103,378- $143,108 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits
PCWA is seeking an experienced individual to join the Agency’s Energy Marketing team as a Power Market Analyst I/II. Our Power Market Analyst is responsible for organizing, coordinating and performing activities related to the marketing of Agency energy products and optimizing the sale of electric energy within physical and financial contractual obligations in the wholesale power market. Due to the rigorous schedule demands of this body of work, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. A 3% COLA will be applied to the salary listed, effective 1/11/2025.
Our ideal candidate for a Power Market Analyst I will have at least six months of increasingly responsible experience working in wholesale energy markets, power trading, or a related field, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering or a related field. Our ideal candidate for a Power Market Analyst II will have at least two years of increasingly responsible experience working in wholesale energy markets, power trading, or a related field, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
