Description

The Position

The City of Riverside is recruiting for a dynamic and highly experienced Utilities Assistant General Manager for Water Delivery to manage the day-to-day planning, directing, reviewing, and overseeing the water design engineering, planning, water resources, operations, maintenance, and construction activities of the Water Delivery division. This position is designated as Non-Classified and exempt from the classified service. This at-will position reports to the General Manager.

Annual Salary Range is $181,308 - $236,388

Performance-based merit range from $236,388 - $271,848

Qualifications

Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in water or civil engineering. A Master's Degree in a related field is highly desirable.

Experience: Seven years of progressively responsible managerial and supervisory experience in water design engineering, planning, water resources, operations, maintenance, and construction activities.

Necessary Special Requirement:
Possession of an appropriate, valid class "C" California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
