Description
Psychiatrist Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center have an opening for a Psychiatrist. Our facility consists of an Adult Psychiatric Services unit, which treats primarily Forensic clients as adjudicated by the criminal court, and the Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services unit, which treat patients adjudicated as Sexually Violent Predators. Both units have specialized programs serving subpopulations of each group. Depending on your interests, teaching (through our affiliations with two nearby medical schools), administrative duties, and participation in program development/evaluation can be included in your duties.
A full and unrestricted Missouri license is required. We have competitive base salaries, flexible 40 hour work weeks with volunteer on-call duties (which can supplement income) and generous benefits.
