General Summary
The Department of Finance is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Accounting Systems Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing Oracle Cloud to manage various aspects of our grants accounting processes, including creating projects and awards, detail reviewing requests for project and award setup in the general ledger, uploading labor schedules for project payroll, performing project payroll reclasses, running the Grants Accounts Receivable Process in Oracle, and other system related projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or technology related field, with specific experience in grants management and Oracle Cloud systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a technology related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in grants accounting or financial management, preferably within a municipality, nonprofit, or academic setting.
Experience in Oracle Cloud or other financial management software or ERP Systems, with hands-on experience in project and award management.
Working Conditions:
This position typically operates in an office environment, with occasional remote work opportunities.
