Job Expires: Open Until FilledSalary Range: $54,863.22 to $73,242.40
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the General Accounting Director, the Investment Accountant is responsible for the reconciliation of the City’s investment portfolio statements to related ledger accounts as well as monitor and ensure the complete and accurate interface of Treasury Module activity to the General Ledger. The Investment Accountant is also responsible for the monthly general ledger close, balance sheet and income statement analysis.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education & Experience:
- Possess a Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in Accounting;
- Five plus years of responsible, professional and high volume Accounting experience;
- At least two years of working knowledge in Municipal Government Accounting and/or Cash/Investment related experience preferred.
