VIRTUAL FREMONT POLICE OFFICER APPLICANT ORIENTATION
We invite you to meet our Team! Fremont Police Department will be hosting a virtual orientation on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Come learn about Fremont Police Department and the Police Officer recruitment process. Registration is required. Please register here.

We are accepting applications on a continuous basis for the position of Police Officer (Entry-Level, Academy Graduate, or Out-of-State Lateral).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• Step 1: Apply
  • Applicants must attach a passing PELLETB or NTN score when applying.
  • Scores that are within one year of the application date and that meet the minimum passing score will be accepted. Applicants can take and submit results for either of the two tests below.
    • NTN Law Enforcement Exam: Minimum passing score of 65% for video, 70% for reading and 70% for writing. Virtual and in-person options are available for NTN. A screenshot of your NTN scores must be attached to your application.
    • POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLETB): Minimum passing score of 49.

• We accept WSTB results, which must be within one year of application date and meet the minimum passing score of 320.

HIRING BONUS
Hiring bonus for new Police Officer Entry-level in a total amount of $10,000. The new hire will receive the first payment of $5,000 upon acceptance of final offer letter and $5,000 upon completion of the probationary period. (To be eligible for the hiring bonus, applicants must apply on or after November 28, 2022)
