Position Information

Department Summary

University Relations and Development (URAD) advances SDSU’s mission through strategic priorities like becoming a premier public research university, fostering resilience, promoting equity and inclusion, and centering students.

URAD builds lasting relationships with alumni, parents, donors, students, and the community to generate private support for diverse programs. It offers services in stewardship, events, gift administration, and communications.

In 2022-2023, URAD raised $136.9M, awarded 2,254 scholarships, and welcomed 5,969 first-time donors, supporting SDSU’s goal of developing a world-class campus and research center in Mission Valley. Recognized by CASE for excellence, URAD collaborates with faculty, staff, and 500,000 alumni and friends to advance SDSU’s mission.

The expected hiring salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
