Salary Range : $3,864 - $6,072/Monthly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $3,864 - $4,250/Monthly)
Work Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; non-exempt classification.
Essential Functions : Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Students - Student Conduct Officer, the Administrative Coordinator will support all administrative functions to ensure fair, timely, and accurate judicial process is performed. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator interacts regularly with each of the units/programs within the Office of the Dean of Students and with those reporting to the Dean, including but not limited to the Student Conduct, Community Care, Basic Needs, and events that are overseen by the Office of the Dean of Students. This position provides critical administrative and fiscal support and coordination of daily office operations. This position is highly customer service oriented and has duties specifically related to ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness and overall success of the services and programs that support engagement, personal and community well-being, individual responsibility, and academic success. The incumbent frequently takes the lead in researching relevant University policy and gathering the necessary background required to make recommendations on issues that may have a broad impact across the University. This type of administration support requires good judgment, and detailed follow-up. Often compiles data and information used in support of, or justification for, the annual operating budgets, grant request and proposals.
Required Qualifications & Experience : Equivalent to three (3) years of general office experience and/or ongoing work coordination and/or lead responsibilities with notable accountability for the work results of support staff or unit administrative function. Must be able to: independently compose documents, letters, announcements, etc.; efficiently multi-task; deal with conflicting priorities and have effective time management skills; demonstrate competence in Microsoft Office software; be a problem solver demonstrating competence in independent judgment; use a high level of discretion and ability to appropriately file confidential documents; work independently and exercise sound judgment; maintain strict confidentiality in all matters; and establish and maintain effective working relationships. Incumbent must also demonstrate the ability and/or interest in working in a multicultural/multi-ethnic environment. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.

Desired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.
