Position Description
Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

Major/Essential Functions
Responsible for assisting the Program Director in planning, organizing, and executing wellness events at TTUHSC campuses for students and/or employees. This role needs creativity, excellent project management skills, good organizational skills, and a passion for wellness and the overall well-being of our students and our employees. The Program Coordinator will be part of collaborative wellness opportunities both internally at TTUHSC on all campuses but also for external opportunities, including community-based events. Responsible for assisting the Office of Institutional Health and Wellness in the scheduling and management of the Wellness Center (ie: Wellness room, Red Light Therapy, Oxygen bar, etc). Travel to other TTUHSC campuses will be required (day trips only) on an as needed basis for events. Easily able to pivot in job duties and accepts change based on the needs of the department. The Program Coordinator will need to be have great interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate and socialize with everyone that attends TTUHSC Wellness events or visits the Wellness Center.

Required Qualifications
High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
