Major/Essential FunctionsThe Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to work in a clinically diverse program, serving a large region of West Texas known as the Texas Panhandle.
The candidate should have exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, collegiality and an interest in training pediatric residents and medical students. This is a full academic faculty position.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center medical school was recently ranked #1 nationally among graduates as "The best place to learn". Hospital-based education is key to fulfilling the mission of the school. A hospitalist works full-time in a nationally operated hospital that is designated a Level III Trauma Center.

Primary duties include the following:
- Provide Pediatric Hospitalist services at UHS- Northwest Texas Hospital.

Occasional Duties
Required QualificationsMD degree.
Board certified within a year from hire date.
