Major Duties

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the CSUEA, along with the Chancellor’s Office, and the Dean of the Mike Curb College at CSUN, the CSUEA Entertainment Alliance Financial and Operations Analyst supports the operational and financial aspects of the Entertainment Alliance. The incumbent must maintain strong relationships with CSU campuses as well as the entertainment and technology industries to maintain existing partnerships while working with the Partnerships contractor to assist in fostering new relationships and opportunities.

• Responsible for the successful implementation and management of CSUEA programs including Internships, Grants, Summer Housing, Events, and all of the functions they require.
• Engage in a variety of operational procedures to ensure the effective and timely functioning of the program, including the prompt flow of auxiliary funds from the Chancellor’s Office and system-wide to all CSU campuses.
• Primary staff position to support the CSUEA and is also responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the programs, including the fiscal and administrative affairs. primary accounting and budgeting staff for the Alliance, as well as the primary operational support for multiple sub-projects.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field.
• Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, progressively responsible technical, analytical, or administrative experience.
• Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required education, on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Working knowledge of general practices, program, and/or administrative specialty. Working knowledge of operational analysis and techniques.
• Ability and specialized skills to expertly investigate and analyze problems with a broad administrative impact and implications. Ability to: oversee and/or train others and provide lead work direction; interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures to develop conclusions and make recommendations; compile, write and present reports related to program or administrative specialty; and communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

• Classification: Administrative Analyst/Specialist / 1038 / 2
• The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $4598 - $5417 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $4598 - $8318 per month.
• HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends.
• This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
• The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
