Description
Definition and Class CharacteristicsAre you seeking supervision of practicum hours, or a place to complete preceptorship requirements? Or perhaps you desire to put your talents and skills to use to support our local community while doing meaningful work. Nevada County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is now accepting applications for Volunteers and Interns in a variety of different capacities!
HHSA includes the following County departments:- Behavioral Health including Children's mental health, Adult mental health, Substance Use, and Homeless Outreach
- Child Support Services
- HHSA Administration / Fiscal
- Probation including Juvenile and Adult services
- Public Defender including Clerical unit, Misdemeanor, Felony, and Specialty Courts
- Public Health including Health & Wellness, Emergency Preparedness, Public Health Nursing, Client Care Services including Nutrition and Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
- Social Services including Eligibility (including CalFresh and Medi-Cal), CalWORKs, Child Welfare Services, Adult Services, Public Guardian, In-Home Supportive Services, and Veterans Services
