In addition, the Ambulance Operator/Paramedic functions in a lead capacity over the Ambulance Operator/ EMT (Basic). This position may work 8, 10, 12, or 24-hour shifts as determined by the Fire Authority. Employees hired into this classification are part-time, temporary employees.
