Join us as we work together to keep the City of Newnan a desirable place to live, work and raise a family.$37,294.40 - $60,153.60 while attending Basic Police Officer Training, promotion and pay increase upon graduation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Police Officer Trainee responsibilities include learning basic skills and procedures needed to be a police officer. Under direct guidance and close supervision, you will perform skilled trades while attending official law enforcement classes through a POST approved Police Academy, and related work as apparent or assigned.The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
