Typical schedule is 2 hours per day. Make a Difference Every School Day Every morning and afternoon, School Crossing Guards help create a safer route for students walking to and from school. As a School Crossing Guard, you'll become a familiar and trusted presence in your neighborhood while helping children cross the street safely. What You'll Do
- Assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings
- Help maintain safe traffic flow around schools
- Watch for changing traffic conditions
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to stand during scheduled shifts
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Applicants living in or near Wellington may be better suited for the scheduled shift times.
- Ability to communicate through English is required by Palm Beach Sheriff's Office.
