Sourcing Consultant

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Sourcing and contribute to large-scale planning related to sourcing deliverables. You will analyze sourcing challenges, support contract lifecycle activities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive procurement efforts while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Support sourcing initiatives including vendor evaluation, selection, and onboarding.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Conduct financial and cost analysis to support sourcing decisions.
Manage multiple sourcing projects, ensuring timelines and priorities are met.
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and align sourcing strategies.
Analyze supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain sourcing documentation and reporting.
Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of sourcing, procurement, or vendor management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Experience with contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
Effective communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with financial analysis and cost optimization.
Experience managing multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously.
Familiarity with procurement systems and enterprise sourcing processes.
