Summary

Combat Development SpecialistServe as a Combat Development Specialist for the command, in support of capability development efforts. Assist with documenting input in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) for required capabilities. Ensure that interviews, surveys, and other data, information and subject matter expertise are collected from command user representatives during requirement development. Supports requirements resourcing through the Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution System (PPBES). Provide guidance to command on acquisition practices for development of technology. Assist in streamlining programmatic requirements and acquisition authorities required for the development of Special Operations Forces (SOF) rapid requirements generation and fielding processes. Supports the development of all applicable streamlined (expedited) Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), SOFCIDS directives, coordinates and assists in the development of required program. Develop operational requirements for mission support. Track funding and budget activities to assist in the development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and annual budget submission.
