Summary
Senior Military Recruiter
We are seeking an experienced Senior Military Recruiter to lead full life cycle recruiting for military-affiliated talent, with a strong focus on data center hiring, while serving as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers. This role supports a dynamic and growing field and emphasizes building sustainable military talent pipelines, developing local relationships with leaders and employees, and delivering strategic recruiting solutions that align with business hiring needs.
This is a 12-month contract recruiting opportunity at Oracle (not an opportunity to join Oracle as a full time employee). Candidates must be willing to work as a W2 contract employee through Oracle's preferred staffing partner.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full life cycle recruiting for military, veteran, transitioning service member, and military spouse talent across technical and business functions.
- Serve as a consultative talent advisor to hiring managers by advising on talent availability, role calibration, leveling, recruiting process, time-to-fill expectations, and hiring strategies for data center and other priority roles.
- Develop customized sourcing and talent strategies for priority searches.
- Foster strong local relationships with hiring managers, employees, military installations, veteran organizations, universities, and community partners to build a strong recruiting network and increase visibility across the business.
- Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates through the entire recruiting lifecycle.
- Leverage knowledge of military recruiting programs and communities to attract qualified talent into data center hiring pipelines and related workforce programs.
- Use recruiting analytics and KPIs to measure success, improve pipeline health, and track progress against hiring goals in a fast-moving environment.
- Apply critical thinking to solve hiring challenges, navigate ambiguity and change, and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Partner cross-functionally with recruiting, HR, and business leaders to support military hiring initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience; technical recruiting preferred.
- Demonstrated military recruiting experience.
- Strong consultative recruiting and talent advisor capabilities.
- Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders and external military communities in support of data center hiring and related workforce initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using recruiting metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Ability to travel up to 35% (approximately three trips per month).
