OverviewThe unit supply specialist is primarily responsible for supervising or performing tasks involving the general upkeep and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment.Job DutiesReceive, inspect, inventory, load/unload, store, issue and deliver supplies and equipmentMaintain automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipmentIssue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areasSchedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weaponsOperate unit level computersEligibilityMust have an interest in joining the Army.17 to 34 years old.Must be able to meet height/weight requirementsNo tattoos on hands, face, or above the neck (ring tattoos are acceptable)No history of a felony level offense.No major medical procedures that would prohibit you from service. (please feel free to ask specific questions).TrainingJob training for a unit supply specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions.
