Providing culturally competent and consumer-friendly services, the part-time hourly NJ Licensed Military Peer Support Specialist will engage with individuals through telephone, chat, and text requests, offering peer support and appropriate referrals while maintaining a peer-to-peer relationship to identify any emotional or behavioral changes.Key responsibilitiesEngage individuals served in an empathic manner and respond promptly to service requestsDevelop and maintain peer relationships to identify emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral changesRespond professionally to referrals and inquiries from professionals and outside agenciesRequired qualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentAt least three years of active duty service or relevant military experienceDD214 form or official document verifying military serviceDemonstrated ability to use a computer for recording services and basic office functionsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
